One of the few remaining bascule bridges of the Brown type in the nation and the only one found in Connecticut is this one. It is a superb illustration and is in wonderful condition.

Enders Island, an 11-acre island inside the town of Stonington in the U.S. state of Connecticut, is situated just offshore from the Mystic area of the town.
